Experience almost 40 diverse creative businesses and organizations located in Downtown Richmond through a self-guided walking tour, on and off Historic Broad Street. Entertainment along the streets and at various venues. Locations and times vary.

We welcome UNOS (United Network for Organ Sharing) to First Fridays! UNOS will host a Grand Opening of their new Gallery Space from 5pm-9pm, featuring the paintings of Baxter Perkinson, 30 Years of Giving Back. Free 700 North 4th Street (at Jackson St)
UNIVERITY OF RICHMOND DOWNTOWN will host The Citizen Artist, an intriguing Panel Talk on whether art can create social change. Gallery5 and CultureWorks partner for a new lecture series on the second Wednesday of the month
that's a happy hour dip into academia
with an array of unusual topics. The opening night event features Tracy Wilson of Independent Label Collective speaking on the music industry. Accompanying the lecture will be musical performances, happy hour drink specials,

ARTIST TALK WITH KEITH M. RAMSEY
Take part in the last creative conversation with artist Keith Ramsey discussing his current series, "Diluted Loss", which investigates American history from WWII to today. The past artist talks have been casual yet intriguing, taking in issues of history, race, politics, and much more. This last talk in the series will likely be even more provocative.

September 25th is the deadline for Submissions to 1708's popular "Wearable Art" event that will take place during the Third Annual InLight RICHMOND event featuring artworks inspired by light.
