9WG Studios features two audio recording suites, a two-story tracking room and isolation booth, two editing suites and a shooting cyc. A beautiful brick gallery wall was designed to showcase exhibitions by local and regional artists. An ample reception area and a multipurpose room can be used for small music performances. This new creative facility is the new business address for Red Amp Audio, Spang TV, and Mad Box Post.

Richmond based artist

Alyson Plante

RVA artist Alyson Plante received a BFA from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1995. She has shown works in recent exhibitions at Crossroads Art Center, Richmond; the Montpelier Center for Arts and Education; McGuffey Art Center, Charlottesville; and The Red Caboose Gallery, Vienna, VA.

Plante is also the co-founder of Lost Cats Project (www.lostcatsproject.wordpress.com) an ongoing community art project in Richmond, and is a member of Real Small Art League artists’ collective (www.realsmallart.com). Plante’s studio practice is focused on painting and she also creates works in assemblage/collage, sculpture and photography. She freelances as a graphic designer and is the owner of Design Direction Creative Services.
