What's the latest news?
As First Fridays has grown over the last decade, changes have become necessary to meet the increase in visitors and participating venues and growing residential community. This growth has necessitated revisiting the street activities in order to maintain safe and friendly pedestrian areas. With over 40 participating partner sites, Curated Culture announces changes to First Fridays Art Walk beginning October 7, 2011.
Earlier Hours 5:00pm-9:00pm

Map and Parking
Ample parking is available in Downtown along the street and at nearby paid honor lots. Free parking is available first come first served at Centenary United Methodist Church at 4th and East Grace Street, St. Paul's Episcopal Church at 8th and East Grace Street, plus at the Jefferson Hotel with any purchase at Lemaire restaurant with validation.
Exhibiting at First Fridays Art Walk
We wish we could help support every artist by providing exhibition space, but we do not curate the exhibitions that are on view. We leave this important work to our colleagues that manage the many diverse local galleries, and since each gallery has its own vision and submission policy, we recommend visiting them in order to find which ones best fit your style and interests and then contact them directly for their submission policy.
First Fridays Art Walk organization
First Fridays is a program of Curated Culture, Inc. Through sponsorships, donations, annual fees from the participating venues, and support from the Richmond Police Department we are able to facilitate this free program for the community. We oversee media relations and marketing opportunities for the participating venues including this website, brochure, social media, and community outreach services.
